25 May Historical Site Features Revealed Through Area Preparation Works

Clearing and preparing the area for site development works over the last few months has uncovered many historical features of the site.
This World War Two Squadron office is now visible after many years hidden in the undergrowth.
The black fencing surrounding the building is to ensure the newts that inhabit the area are safely kept on site and aren’t able to enter other areas where development works are ongoing.
Any historic items within the offices will be preserved and will ultimately be on display in an onsite museum.
