Safeguarding wildlife and their natural habitats on site is of the utmost importance during the build. The area around Woodhouse Farm is known to be inhabited by great-crested newts which require protecting. Here you’ll see a newt hibernaculum on site, this is a man-made shelter where these amphibians can take refuge. During the propping of the old Brewhouse building, we also stumbled across a bird’s nest which we have been careful not to disturb.
