03 Jun Annual Crank Up Success
On the 27th May, we held our annual Crank Up event at Woodhouse Farm, which was a huge success, welcoming over 400 attendees made up of neighbours and local families. The event was held in collaboration with the Farm Machinery Preservation Society, a local group that Indaver have been working with during the ongoing Woodhouse Farm preservation and restoration project .
The group brought many of their agricultural machinery and equipment, many of which dated back to as early as the 20th century. There were also military vehicles, classic cars and motorbikes on display, which attendees were able to sit in and watch being demonstrated. There was also plenty of entertainment for the children, from a bouncy castle to farm animal petting area.
Our team was on site at the information hub from 10am to 4:30pm to welcome visitors and share exciting updates on the IWMF. Our balcony overlooking the construction site allowed attendees to enjoy an impressive first hand view of all the progress that has been made so far, and speak with the team about the project.
It was amazing to meet so many of you, and to hear such positive feedback on the event and our progress so far with the IWMF. We loved being able to bring Woodhouse Farm back to life and can’t wait to hold further events, to connect with the local communities.
